A brand-new New Year’s Eve experience is about to hit Minneapolis, as Snowta NYE Festival prepares to launch it’s inaugural edition with a real bang.
The Midwest festival is proud of its homegrown roots, and aims to provide a true experiential alternative for music fans in the Minnesota region and beyond who will travel to see the selection of artists scheduled to perform. This festival/concert hybrid combines top-tier international music names with some of the best the local talent Twin Cities’ scene has to offer. The one-night affair will see the Minneapolis Convention Center transformed into a playground of activities including carnival rides, art galleries, skateboard competitions and much more.
Headlining on the night will be Big Gigantic, who will have the honor of ringing in 2017, as well as British composter and producer Tipper. Infected Mushroom are billed for a DJ set while American rapper Waka Flocka Flame will also be one of the popular must-see acts on the night. Other artists include hip-hop duo Hippie Sabotage, local hip-hop/EDM turntablist DJ Abilities, Dubstep producer SQUNTO and stereoGO, a rising local DJ out of Chicago via Minneapolis, who will be performing alongside MVNIV.
The festival is also hosting two separate pre-parties on December 30th, the first ft. DRAM & Allan Kingdom + Special Guests at Music Hall Mpls and the second ft. Michal Menert & Desert Dwellers at The Lex.
