Movement Festival, Detroit’s iconic celebration of techno, house, and experimental music, is set to return to Hart Plaza over Memorial Day Weekend, May 23–25, 2026 and will be celebrating its 20 years. The edition hosts 115+ acts with 6 stages, over the course of 3 days.
This year showcases feature Detroit Love, DJ Minx House Your life, KMS Records, and Underground Music Academy!
The Movement Stage, located in the amphitheater, is the crown jewel. Here is where you’ll see the big players, the legends, and those who have earned their stripes.
Waterfront showcases myriad styles; Funk, Hip-Hop, Breakbeats, Ghettotech, it’s all welcome here.
The Pyramid Stage, positioned opposite the Waterfront Stage along the river, is the perfect summer backdrop.
Stargate Stage is distinctly Detroit, with lifelong friends sound-tracking a city-wide block party.
Detroit Stage features an all-Detroit lineup of veterans, rising talent, and newcomers.
The Underground Stage offers music fans a true "warehouse party" experience located under the main level of Hart Plaza.
