February 2nd through February 9th is Tinnitus Awareness Week!
Tinnitus Awareness Week is an annual campaign (usually held in early February) dedicated to raising awareness about tinnitus.
The goals of the week are to:

Help people feel less alone. Tinnitus can be invisible but life-altering.

SOUND-RELATED SYMPTOMS
- Ringing in the ears
- Buzzing
- Hissing
- Whistling
- Humming
- Clicking or ticking
- Roaring
- Static or white-noise–like sounds
- Pulsing or rhythmic sounds (sometimes in time with the heartbeat)
These sounds can be constant or intermittent and may affect one ear or both.
PERCEPTIONS AND INTENSITY CHANGES
- Sounds that become more noticeable in quiet environments
- Fluctuating loudness or pitch
- Symptoms that worsen with stress, fatigue, or illness
- Increased awareness of sound after noise exposure
HEALTHY HEARING HABITS
- Lower the volume when using headphones
- Take listening breaks in noisy environments
- Get regular hearing checks
- Wear hearing protection at concerts, festivals, and loud venues
